The word friend comes from an old English word freound” which means free. A friend is hence someone who sets us free, allows us to be free, gives us the freedom and space to be our self.
Doesn’t hem us in or impose restrictions. Instead allows us to settle to be relaxed and just to be. A friend is thus our gateway to freedom!
